Emily Wendler - Reporter

Emily Wendler is an environmental journalism graduate student at UM. She discovered her affinity for radio journalism last semester while doing a rather large investigative piece for Montana Public Radio about the MSTI transmission line. She believes that radio reaches more people, and hopes to work in the field some day. Besides holding microphones in people’s faces, Emily likes to ride her bike and cook. She is very in to agriculture and plans to work on a farm this summer. Her Master thesis will hopefully revolve around agricultural policy and the local food system.
